Automotive High School
In the 2006-7 school year, Epic began working with Automotive High School, a 1200 student vocational High School in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. We ran a major Journeys program focused on The Oresteia in four 10th grade classrooms. This year, we will be working with three 10th grade and three 9th grade classrooms - building a culture of high expectations. Epic Teaching Artists Godfrey L. Simmons Jr. and Brandt Adams will continue their roles as Lead Teaching Artists at the school Funded by the Department of Education and the Partnership for Arts Education's School Arts Partnership Grant. |
